Powerleveling in most cases has been a subject of contraversy for quite some time. Mostly due to the Chinese Farmers who sell Powerleveling services for big bucks.

In my experience with the game though, I have realized that to make levels quickly and easily while actually playing the game is not a really daunting task. Questing is the main goal here, so if you learn to quest smart you can level up in a pretty decent amount of time. Also if you are in a guild with some high level people they can take you on certain instance runs so that you get all the XP to level fast. I have personally taken guild mates and other random friends through Instances that are very simple for me and do large pulls of the mobs. I learned this technique from a guy that has mastered the art of doing these large pulls, his name is Hobbs. You can check out some of his videos on you tube, he's got a ton of them.

Now there are others out there that will try and sell you bots for powerlevleing. These bots can play for you while you go do something else. They can be set for determined amounts of time and work off of keystoke loggers that just keep doing the same thing over and over again. Ultimately, blizz admins will spot these bots and WLL BAN YOUR ACCOUNT! I do not suggest using a bot. It is stated in the user agreement of WoW that you are not to use a third party application to play the game and this is exatly what the keysroke logger is when you play a bot. I don't suggest risking getting you account banned...it wouldn't be good.
